This week on TNA Impact broadcasted on AXS TV, wrestling champion Wes Lee made a surprise appearance, once again joining forces with The Rascalz in The Treehouse. As part of this week’s event, Lee joined The Rascalz at their regular hangout spot. During his appearance, the former WWE NXT North American Champion made it clear to his fans that he was not a hologram or clone and that it had been some time since his last visit. Lee then proposed a team-up with The Rascalz to challenge the No Quarter Catch Crew.

Highlights from the segment can be viewed in the tweet below:

“Wes Lee, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz are back together in the Treehouse! Could this be a hint of the Rascalz’s return at TNA Slammiversary?”

Nic Nemeth, who is scheduled to compete at TNA Slammiversary, has confirmed that he will be participating despite being in the recovery stage from a partially torn labrum he suffered during a match with Frankie Kazarian on a previous TNA Impact event. He made his status clear in a tweet:

“Nic Nemeth has been medically cleared to participate in the 6 Man Elimination match at TNA Slammiversary.”

Accordingly, Pwinsider has mentioned that a dark match battle royale is set to happen at Slammiversary. This will feature Canadian wrestling talents such as Carl Leduc, Franky Mack, Xander, Firestorm, Jason Gray, Joey Valanetine, Mike Hart, The Green Phantom, Pickton, Keven Gray, Peewee, Marquise Wild Card, Steve Ace, Stan Francisco, Eric Mastrocola, Chase Ironside, Max Lemire, Mathis Myre, Zak Patterson, and Yaine Harrison.
