At Friday night’s WWE Superstar Spectacle live event at the Gachibowli Indoor Arena in Hyderabad, India, fans witnessed the return of ‘CM Punk’ chants to WWE. This comes a week after CM Punk’s firing from AEW.
The most prominent instance of fans chanting for the ‘Straight Edge Superstar’ was seen during Natalya and Zoey Stark’s match. Fans also chanted for MJF and LA Knight during the match. Interestingly, a spot in the match prompted chants of ‘Double Clothesline’ as well.
It’s worth noting that CM Punk chants broke out several other times during the show as well; so did chants for RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore), a cricket franchise team that plays in the IPL (Indian Premier League).
