WALTER Stays NXT UK Champion After Defeating Tommaso Ciampa

WALTER and Tommaso Ciampa have formed a bit of a rivalry over the last couple of weeks, and during tonight’s NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, they faced off for the NXT UK Championship. In a brutal match, it was WALTER who proved why he was so dominant, retaining his title in commanding fashion.

From the start of the match, both superstars went at it in a major way. The two dominant superstars refused to give an inch to each other, and they quickly tried their best to dominant one another in the ring. Toward the end, though, WALTER began to show Ciampa why he was the defending champion, as he landed two huge powerbombs on Ciampa.

After hitting Ciampa with the two powerbombs, WALTER then hit Ciampa with a huge suplex following a kickoff by his opponent. With Ciampa refusing to give up, WALTER then hit him with a huge chop before falling down onto him for the pin and win.
