Vince Russo, an influential figure in the wrestling world, recently expressed strong disappointment towards Hulk Hogan, a WWE Hall of Famer. He has urged Hogan to “mature considerably,” in light of Hogan’s latest questionable actions.
These comments were spurred by a heart-wrenching video shared by Hogan’s ex-wife, Linda, in which she blamed Hogan for their daughter Brooke severing ties with them.
In what some may view as a dismissive and callous reaction, Hogan posted a video of him and his current wife casually eating popcorn, seemingly relishing Linda’s emotional distress.
Vince Russo aired his thoughts about Hogan’s reaction during an episode of the “Wrestling Outlaws” podcast and questioned why Hogan seemed to find joy in the situation. Russo said,
“Hulk needs to seriously mature. Can you imagine, watching such a sad video of your ex-spouse? My thoughts instantly turn to my own wife. I couldn’t fathom having driven her or anyone I’ve married and had children with, to such an emotional state. That’s one aspect.
“The other part is hoping that she doesn’t harm herself. It’s evident she’s hit an emotional low, and we can only pray it doesn’t go downhill from here.
“And then, in the midst of this, there’s Hogan with his most recent spouse, simply enjoying popcorn and nonchalantly recording a video. Imagine the potential ramifications if Linda were to tragically end her life after this. Can he not see the potential fallout?”
According to Russo, Hogan is yet to learn from his past and continues to let ego get the best of him. Russo adds,
“That woman gave you children. You owe her that respect at a minimum. Yet, here you are, blatantly making a mockery of her distress. This displays an unimaginable lack of class.”
Hogan has been absent from WWE since his controversial appearance during RAW’s Netflix debut, where he faced a harsh reception from the Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome audience.
Despite the WWE’s collaboration with Hogan’s Real American Beer, the company is reportedly seeking methods to market the product without leveraging Hogan’s image.
