Former wrestling writer for both WWE and WCW, Vince Russo, recently divulged a particularly odd incident during his time with TNA. The reveal came during a fresh episode of the podcast, “Wrestle Binge”.
During the conversation, EC3 offhandedly mentioned how Liv Morgan always smelled pleasant. This comment led to accusations of EC3 ‘sniffing’ the NWA Worlds Champion.
Upon hearing this, Russo confessed that he, too, had been an anomaly during his stint with TNA. He shared a tale from the time when Jersey Shore’s star JWoww was a guest at the Impact Zone, stating,
“I’ll never forget this, EC3, and you might find this interesting. Jersey Shore was the talk of the town at the time, buddy. A particular gal from the show, JWOWW, had agreed to make an appearance on TNA, Chris. As the night was drawing to a close and JWoww preparing to depart, I had a decision to make: handshake or a hug and a sniff? I chose the latter. To this day, it remains the weirdest thing I’ve ever done, but at least I’m admitting it, EC3. I decided on the hug and sniff.”
“That moment holds the record for the strangest moment I’ve ever experienced, and I don’t mind acknowledging it, EC3. Chris, it’s a major cringe moment in my narrative. Although strange, my rapport with all the women I’ve worked with was always more paternal. I was usually older than them, which likely contributed to the father-daughter dynamic,” he added.
JWoww, whose real name is Jenni Farley, featured in two episodes of TNA Impact back in 2010. She’s currently in a relationship with Zack Clayton, who has also made appearances for AEW.
