Bobby Lashley, a renowned WWE superstar, recently shared insights regarding his rapport, or lack thereof, with WWE’s Chief Creative Officer, Triple H. Speculation continues to persist about his ongoing status as a WWE Superstar.
On a latest rendition of the podcast “Laboratory”, Lashley was quizzed on whether he has a stronger relationship with Triple H or Vince McMahon, to which he responded,
“If I say the wrong thing right now [Laughter]. My understanding was much better with Vince. Vince had an innate understanding of me. Vince primarily focused on the show. He perceived individuals as stars. He recognised that quality within me. Vince imparted many morsels of wisdom throughout my career, guiding me with various suggestions. Vince acknowledged how hard I work, envisioning me as a star and identifying my capability to represent the brand at any location nationwide. I appreciate Vince.”
He further added, “My bond with Hunter has not been as strong. I’ve attempted to establish a relationship, but we’ve not had sufficient professional engagements to thoroughly know each other.”
Lashley first interacted with McMahon on-screen in 2007 when Donald Trump chose him for his representation in the Battle of the Billionaires against McMahon’s Umaga.
Lashley triumph over Umaga at WrestleMania 23 led to McMahon getting a shaved head and later snatching the ECW World Championship from Lashley.
Reports surfaced hinting at the expiration of Lashley’s WWE contract by the end of this weekend, leading many to anticipate his exit from WWE.
After his re-entry into WWE ring in 2018, Lashley had racked up numerous accolades including U.S Champion multiple times and twice as WWE Champion.
