Former WWE Superstar Viktor has no desire to return to WWE, despite whatever amount the company would be willing to pay.

Viktor, alongside The Ascension ally Konnor, was released from WWE in 2019 and the pair still hold the record for the longest reign as NXT Tag Team Champions.

Speaking to “PW Mania,” Viktor was asked if a return to WWE has ever been on his mind. He said,

“I mean, I’ve thought about that [returning to WWE] before I used to say no. I don’t have any desire to go back to WWE. I mean, the money would always be great. But I think of what cost that comes with it.”

Viktor added that he hardly expects WWE to make an offer to him, stating that The Ascension has effectively been forgotten by the promotion. He said,

“It’s one of those things like I saw that the Headbangers recently got a Legends deal, or that something along those lines is what they signed. And I was like, that’s really awesome. I was really happy for them. I don’t ever expect Konnor and me to get something like that from WWE, because we’re just forgotten about.”

Following their releases from WWE, Konnor and Viktor continued to team on the independent circuit, which included a reign as Atomic Wrestling Tag Team Champions in early 2021.
