Viewership And Ratings Totals For ‘Heels’ Debut On STARZ

Heels has an audience on Sunday nights.
According to ShowBuzzDaily, the new STARZ series drew 128,000 viewers on Sunday night, along with a 0.02 rating. The series, starring Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig as two brothers at the top of a small-town independent wrestling promotion, premiered on Sunday, August 15 with an episode titled “Kayfabe”.
Heels’ eight-episode season airs weekly on STARZ; episode two will premiere on Sunday, August 22.

WrestleZone spoke with the cast leading up to the premiere about some of the inspirations for their characters and what to expect from the series. Allen Maldonado, who plays ‘Rooster’ on the show, spoke about the legends that he took cues from, and Chris Bauer spoke about the dominant strains of wrestling DNA intertwined in his “Wild Bill Hancock” character on the show.
