The Border City Wrestling promotion of Scott D’Amore will return to the live stage following D’Amore’s exit from TNA in June. A press statement on Monday confirmed the Fantastic Fathers Annual Father’s Day Charity Extravaganza is set for June 15th, in Windsor, Ontario.
The official event statement detailed, “We are thrilled to kick off the 2024 season with the Fantastic Fathers Annual Father’s Day Charity Extravaganza at the St. Clair College Sportplex on Saturday, June 15, 2024. An afternoon event, starting at 2pm, and guess what? It’s FREE ADMISSION!”
A notable guest will be Darren McCarty, a Detroit hockey icon and four-time Stanley Cup Champion. Joining him will be BCW’s Can-Am Tag Team Champions Aiden Prince & Reverso who are expected to defend their title. Plus, BCW regulars such as Bhupinder Gujjar (TNA Wrestling), Sheldon Jean (TNA Wrestling), Rohit Raju, and Tyler Tirva will be participating.
“We’re also excited about newcomers Rohan Raja and Aurora Neves! Raja, who was part of WWE’s NXT UK brand in 2021 and 2022, and Neves, a Toronto native trained by Santino Marella at BattleArts, will be making their BCW debuts,” the statement added.
Separately, Ultimate Classic Wrestling just announced a major find. Dennis Coralluzzo’s collection of NWA tapes has been found and is set to feature on the Ultimate Classic Wrestling platform.
UCW announced, “In partnership with his son Marc, we have unearthed Dennis Coralluzzo’s tapes, and we’re thrilled to present them on Ultimate Classic Wrestling! This absolute gem of footage reveals an era of the NWA, with title reigns of Chris Candido, Dan The Beast Severn, Naoya Ogawa, and Gary Steele, legendary shows like the 1994 World Title Tournament and much more.”
In another development, Willow Nightingale made an unexpected visit to The Wrestling Club on Monday. Club leader, Victor Taylor Perry, shared her appearance via a Twitter video, captioned, “The Wrestling Club was graced with a special surprise guest. Thank you @willowwrestles for dropping by and spending time with TWC. Your influence is immeasurable. We deeply appreciate and cherish your presence.”
Nightingale also responded to the video, posting, “I’ve always hoped for something like TWC when I was growing up, and I was already aware of its special nature, but this visit surpassed my expectations.”
