During the ‘Road to WrestleMania’ WWE live event which took place in Nottingham, England on Sunday, a poignant moment was shared between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes. Video footage captured Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, seated alongside Punk on the apron ahead of their wrestling match. A visible emotional connection between the two men was seen as they walked into the ring together.
In another touching scene, a little fan of Cody Rhodes, wearing a costume mimicking the wrestler, stepped into the ring holding a placard proclaiming, “I’d trade my pacifier to meet Cody.” The young fan was then scooped up by Rhodes and both Rhodes and Punk left their autographs on a wrestling pad. Another child, a fan of CM Punk, also entered the ring carrying his hero’s banner. It was a unique episode that left both the children and the wrestling superstars feeling special.
