Various News – WWE NXT TV Tapings, Santana Garrett Returns To WOW, NWA

WWE taped the upcoming episode of NXT TV at the Performance Center last night. Pwinsider reports that WWE NXT will return to the Performance Center with live weekly broadcasts starting Tuesday, July 11.

The NWA is currently having a flash sale for tickets for the upcoming TV tapings on July 9 in Highland Park, Illinois. A 20% discount can be availed using the code NWAJULY4. The promotion will be holding afternoon and evening TV tapings.

Pwinsider reports that longtime Carolinas wrestling announcer Dan Parris passed away on June 27th. For over three decades, Parris had been working as a ring announcer and play-by-play commentator for several promotions in the Carolinas area. He also published a weekly wrestling newsletter and operated as a correspondent in the area for PWI.

WOW – Women of Wrestling was recently given the thumbs up for a second season. Tickets are currently on sale for the upcoming August TV tapings.

Pwinsider reports that former NXT Superstar Santana Garrett is returning to WOW for the tapings in August.

The taping will feature more of the current WOW Superheroes, including WOW Champion Penelope Pink, The Beast, Kandi Crush, The Tonga Twins, Coach Campanelli, Randi Rah Rah, and more.

WOW will return to The Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, California for the August taping.
