Gisele Shaw was accosted by Rick Steiner at WrestleCon on Friday evening, who insulted her for being a transwoman. Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho responded in the comments of her Instagram post, calling Steiner a bully. Jericho wrote,

Hey! Don’t even worry about this. #RickSteiner has always been a bully and has gotten away with so much because he is a “Steiner”. Makes me laugh cause I fell for the same sh*t when he bullied me, Eddie, Chris, Oscar, juvie etc at World War 3 1997!! I got your back @giseleshaw08 …and if Rick has an issue with this, I’d love to discuss with him anytime. It’s 2023 dude…grow the f**k up!

Joey Janela got some stitches following his match with Kota Ibushi at Spring Break. The GCW wrestler tweeted the following today,

“Getting ready for the stich job brother! Thank you all, see you next year in Philadelphia for Joey Janela’s Spring Break 8”

In a recent interview with the Toronto Star, WWE Hall of Famer Edge discussed his retirement from wrestling. You can check out some highlights below:

On his first retirement: “I just realized I had to wrap my mind around the idea that this was done and I was given no choice. When you’re given no choice, in a strange way it almost makes it easier because you’re told you can’t do this. Well, if I can’t do it, then the choice is being taken out of your hands.”

On accepting that his career was over: “The doctors all told me: this can’t happen, this won’t happen. At that point, I was single, didn’t have kids, I didn’t have another career in mind or anything.”

On wrestling going away for him: “Over the nine years, wrestling went away for me. A lot of that was a conscious decision. When you’re told you can’t do it, it’s like ‘Hmm, well that feels like it might be painful to continue to watch something that I can’t do that I love. It’s hard to go back to being just purely a fan. You’re going to watch it a different way, you’re going to maybe not enjoy it and when it’s taken away from you like that …”

And finally, Shawn Michaels took to Twitter to congratulate the NXT brand and thank the fans after NXT Stand & Deliver. He wrote,

Wow! What an incredible show. Congratulations to our hardworking talent and new champs! Hell of a show. Also, I want to thank the fans of the NXT Universe. Without you, we wouldn’t have had such a great, #StandAndDeliver See you all in Lowell for NXT Battleground!”

WWE tweeted out the following photo of Cody Rhodes taking in the humongous WrestleMania 39 set:
