FTR will be sporting a special Chicago-themed T-shirt for the debut of AEW Collision at the United Center this Saturday. On being asked why FTR always has quality tees, Dax Harwood replied that his direct involvement in the designs is the reason behind it. Dax tweeted,

“Because I’m hands on with the shirts and merch. I pay for all of the outside art that is done and get the artists their money. Because I Fucking love wrestling.”

In an interview with You Know I’m Right, former WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley discussed Matt Cardona’s current character on the independent scene and why that would have been the ideal gimmick for the Hype Bros in WWE. Rawley said,

You better believe that if we’re bringing this thing back, it’s not to team with each other. We did that dance we bought a very publicly stated, ‘Look, we were given that job. We tried to do the best we could with that job.’ When it comes to wrestling, Matt and I see everything just totally opposite, which made for some fun at one point. I’m sure we could have done a lot more with them that we didn’t actually get to present to the fans. Yeah, if we wrestle again, it will absolutely be against each other. Matt’s done some incredible things in his career. Honestly, I think he’s hotter now than he ever has been, and it’s a testament to what he’s been willing to do, being able to control his own schedule and how hard he’s been working. I think this is the best Matt Cardona there’s ever been. I think Matt Cardona would kick the crap out of Zack Ryder. I think the attitude that he has now and everything he’s doing would have been great with The Hype Bros. We could have really done something cool with that, being able to tap into this whole mean streak and different side. Obviously, a lot of the things he’s doing now, he couldn’t have done, but maybe that’s what makes it so good, too.”

During a recent edition of Stories With Brisco & Bradshaw, WWE Hall Of Famer Brutus Beefcake recalled his struggles with addiction to opioids and thanked his wife for helping him get rid of it.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

Brutus Beefcake on how his wife helped him deal with opioid addiction: “She saved me. It’s like I said in the Hall of Fame speech, she saved me. She did. She got me off opiates … my best friends are all gone … 20 guys, all gone from opiates.”

On how he used painkillers during his career: I didn’t take ’em every day, but we were on the road every day and wrestling every day, so if you got ’em, what are you gonna do? You’re gonna take ’em.”

Major League Wrestling has announced that B3CCA will perform live at Never Say Never on July 8 at the 2300 Arena.
