USA Network Brings AEW To Canada, Sibley Scoles Joins WOW Broadcast Team

Television host in the sports and entertainment realm, Sibley Scoles, is slated to become part of the broadcast team for WOW – Women Of Wrestling (WOW) beginning next month.

A press statement released reads:

“SIBLEY SCOLES, THE VETERAN SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT HOST IS SET TO JOIN THE “WOW – WOMEN OF WRESTLING” BROADCAST TEAM FROM JANUARY 18th WEEKEND.”

As of December 16, 2024, the Los Angeles-based television host Sibley Scoles will integrate into the WOW team as their new field reporter. Her formal debut will commence on the weekend of January 18th, where she will be working alongside the WOW broadcast team members David McLane and Nigel Zane in the capacity of a backstage and field reporter.

Scoles, fresh from her celebrity ringside interviews of the record-setting Mike Tyson Vs. Jake Paul fight, now brings her extensive hosting experience to WOW. Her aim is to interview the women warriors of wrestling in order to offer fans a firsthand look at the event’s rivalries and disputes.

Scoles shared her excitement about her new role, saying “It’s incredible to be part of a promotion that puts women first… WOW allows me to not only interview the WOW Superheroes, but I’m also empowered to flex my production skills as a show segment producer.”

In other news, Bell Media’s Discovery Channel is set to transition its branding to that of the USA Network in Canada. The re-branding promises content featuring AEW programming.

In the USA, the USA network airs WWE RAW and SmackDown.

The press release further elaborates:

“Bell Media’s Discovery Channel Changes to USA Network Branding in Canada as of January 1 and Features a Mix of In-demand Programming.”

The transition will take place on January 1, and the USA Network will host an array of programs including HIGHWAY THRU HELL, EAST HARBOUR HEROES, HEAVY RESCUE 401, THE TRAITORS, and popular series SUITS, and the debut series ROCKY MOUNTAIN WRECKERS – among many others. For sports fans, the platform will televise AEW COLLISION and the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Fans can also look forward to programs like THE RAINMAKER, LONG BRIGHT RIVER, GOOD COP/BAD COP, DEBRIEFING THE PRESIDENT, and THE PITT which are slated to premiere on the network in 2025.
