MLW fighter Akira had a part to play in the eleventh edition of Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, but was defeated by ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey through a technical knockout.
A report from Fightful Select stated that, despite a grueling battle, Akira is reportedly doing well. While he is said to be dealing with some discomfort like a sore jaw and a cut on his forehead, he is overall in a good condition.
In an alternate injury update, some spectators at the arena expressed concerns over Leyla Hirsch’s wellbeing following her Texas Death Match against Diamante at ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024. However, those fears were unfounded as it has been confirmed that Hirsch is indeed doing fine.
