Rhea Ripley was absent from last night’s WWE RAW TV tapings, as she was selling Nia Jax’s attack from the previous week.
It was mentioned during the show that Ripley had suffered injured ribs and was not “medically cleared” to compete.
Pwinsider is reporting that Ripley’s injury is merely an angle, and she is not legitimately hurt. The WWE Women’s World Champion is currently back home in Australia, and she recently attended an Australia Football League game with her fiancé, Buddy Matthews.
Former WWE Champion Big E praised his New Day stablemate Kofi Kingston for his incredible performance against Ivar on RAW. Big E tweeted,
“I’m clearly biased but I’m thankful we still get to watch @TrueKofi deliver incredible performances this deep into his career. Grateful for you, legend, while we still have you in the ring.”
