Naomi nearly managed to utilize her Money in the Bank briefcase on the WWE Women’s Champion, but the opportunity evaded her grasp.
During this week’s WWE SmackDown episode, Naomi spoke to the audience for the first time after winning the 2025 Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. She mused over her close call with replacing Nia Jax as the champion — a chance thwarted by Tiffany Stratton’s intrusion.
Stratton interrupted Naomi’s monologue, taunting her to use the briefcase immediately. She derided Naomi for being all bark and no bite. Undeterred, Naomi asserted she’d wait for the optimal moment to claim her opportunity.
That moment appeared to be looming seconds later.
Still irate about her Queen of the Ring tournament defeat earlier, Nia Jax entered the ring and delivered a ferocious AnNiahilator to Stratton. An urgent Naomi rushed to the ringside, seemingly ready to use her briefcase — but Nia positioned herself between Naomi and the ring, issuing a stern warning. Faced with this hindrance, Naomi retreated, still in possession of her briefcase.
