WWE commentator, Pat McAfee, recently confirmed that he will be making a comeback to ESPN’s ‘College Gameday’ on August 24th. This announcement sparked speculation that he might take a break from his usual commentating role on RAW, similar to his previous hiatus from SmackDown when he hosted ‘College Gameday’.
Fightful Select has provided some clarity on McAfee’s current position within WWE. Contrary to the rumors, McAfee’s RAW schedule will not undergo any changes. Regardless of his commitments to ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’, the ex-NFL player is expected to continue with his regular travels for RAW and maintain his role as a commentator.
McAfee’s work with ‘College GameDay’ is reportedly going to demand his focus primarily on Fridays for pre-planning and Saturdays for actual game-related activities. This arrangement leaves him available to commit to his WWE responsibilities on Mondays.
