In an update on the King and Queen of the Ring pay-per-view event, there are no plans to reschedule the show. According to a report from Fightful Select, it is said that the King and Queen of the Ring tournament might be held in reserve as an option for future events in Saudi Arabia.
During the latest edition of his “Foley Is Pod” show, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley commented on Cody Rhodes’ ongoing feud with Brock Lesnar and why he believes this is the right decision. He said,
“I think it’s important that the title not go to Cody because I think what Cody is going through in this series Brock Lesnar is giving him the credential, so that when he does — and I think there will definitely be a moment where he becomes that guy, everyone will feel like he deserved it.”
Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar are expected to complete their trilogy at the WWE SummerSlam 2023 pay-per-view event.
