Update On STARDOM Talent Potentially Competing At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II

AEW and NJPW will present the second Forbidden Door pay-per-view event on June 25 from the Scotiabank Arena. As of this writing, Kazuchika Okada vs. Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega defending the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship against Will Ospreay are the only two matches confirmed thus far. 

There had been a report earlier this week about STARDOM talent potentially working the show as STARDOM had talks with AEW with one idea of a STARDOM talent taking on AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm, although that was one of the hurdles in the talks between STARDOM and AEW.

The promotion holds its pay-per-view event, STARDOM SUNSHINE 2023, on June 25th. 

Dave Meltzer noted on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that he’s heard from sources in STARDOM that there haven’t been any talks between the two promotions about STARDOM talent working Forbidden Door.
