In prior news reported on eWrestlingNews.com, it was revealed that the contract between Penta El Zero Miedo and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has been nearing expiration.

However, according to a recent report by Fightful Select, the contract between Penta and AEW has already expired. This news comes earlier than initial reports which had speculated it would run out by next week.

Currently, Penta has the status of a free agent and is now free to sign with any wrestling promotion or participate in any wrestling events of his choosing. His last match under the AEW banner took place during an episode of Rampage in July.

Penta originally joined the AEW family in 2019, partnering with Rey Fenix. The dynamic duo has seen considerable success during their tenure, winning the World Tag Team Championships and becoming Trios Champions with PAC.

Contrarily, recent news confirms that AEW has extended Fenix’s contract owing to an injury. This extension temporarily prevents Fenix from participating in events alongside Penta outside of the AEW domain.
