Update On John Cena’s ‘Peacemaker’ Series

Peacemaker is a DC Extended Universe/HBO Max series starring John Cena in the titular role, spun off from The Suicide Squad.

Writer and director of the series, James Gunn, recently appeared on the “Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum” podcast for an interview and spoke about the plans for season two of the show starring wrestling legend John Cena. He said,

“Peacemaker’s coming back right after Superman. ‘That’s my next thing, go straight from Superman to Peacemaker. Waller is first, and Waller is a lot of the same people from Peacemaker.”
