The latest episode of AEW Dynamite saw simmering rivalries hit a climax, while unexpected partnerships began to emerge.
Following Jon Moxley’s clash with Katsuyori Shibata, The Young Bucks made their presence felt in the ring. They shed light on their contentious activities at AEW Dynasty, justifying their assault on Swerve Strickland as a demonstration of loyalty to ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and a conciliatory gesture to the Death Riders.
In a twist of events, Kenny Omega stepped into the scene to challenge the Bucks instead of Moxley. Omega took them on for their double standards and held them responsible for jeopardizing AEW. As Omega was about to engage in a fight, Kazuchika Okada arrived to support the Young Bucks. However, just as the tide was turning against Omega, Swerve Strickland dashed into the ring with a chair, driving The Elite away and emerging victorious.
In an unprecedented display of solidarity, Omega and Strickland found themselves in the ring together — hinting at a potential coalition against The Elite. Strickland later confirmed his prevailing influence with a triumph over PAC, confidently proclaiming, “It’s buck hunting season.”
