In a video shared to Twitter, HOOK spoke about the upcoming match and had a message for Samoa Joe. He said,

“So who’s the pressure on tomorrow? I mean, is there really anything that I have to lose? Also, [bites pizza], I’m not big enough to compete with Samoa Joe. Hey, I am getting some calories right now, so who knows? [Bites pizza] Then again, who the fuck am I anyway? 24 hours, Joe. I’m coming for that world title.”

HOOK’s name came up during Tony Khan’s latest outburst on social media which saw the AEW President take issue with WWE’s booking of Jinder Mahal.

Many fans found it hypocritical of Mahal to be against WWE thrusting Mahal into a World Championship program as some believe Khan is doing the same with HOOK.

Mahal himself would ask “Who tf is Hook?” and encouraged fans to tune into RAW in a since-deleted tweet.
