The Ultimate X match will make a return at TNA Wrestling’s 2024 Emergence event. The news was released on this week’s episode of TNA Impact on AXS TV, scheduled for August 30th. The participants in the Ultimate X match have yet to be named.
TNA Emergence will be held in Louisville, Kentucky.
Meanwhile, Mustafa Ali has revealed that he will no longer be competing in TNA Wrestling’s X-Division. Ali, who was defeated for the X-Division Championship by Mike Bailey at Slammiversary 2024, posted his decision on Twitter. In his post, Ali extends his gratitude to his supporters and the TNA fanbase for their trust and faith in him throughout his tenure as X-Division Champion.
He praises TNA for its progress as a company, its strong fanbase, and its historic achievements such as reducing the number of senior citizens on its roster and expanding affordable tickets to fans worldwide. Ali also lauds the company’s decision to put forward the first Pakistani-Indian American as champion.
However, he has decided not to pursue reelection as he believes it’s in the best interest of his party and the X- Division for him to concentrate on fulfilling his independent obligations for the remainder of his term. More details about Ali’s decision will be discussed at a later time.
