It is time for another week of the Ultimate Power Rankings from both WWE and AEW. Who improved their stock from last week and who downgraded their position among the rest?
This set of power rankings ranges from Monday (June 5) and to this Sunday (June 11). This means that all the results and highlights from this week’s Raw, NXT, AEW Dynamite, and SmackDown will play a factor in where each superstar places on the rankings.
If a wrestler has a (+) next to their name, then that means that they moved up the rankings from last week’s edition. When there is a (-) next to their name, then that means that they moved down from the rankings from last week. If there is nothing next to their name, then that means that they stayed at the same spot.
Without further ado, here are this week’s Power Rankings!
A new #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship has been crowned. Hail won a battle royal on this week’s NXT to earn a shot at the title, being one of the youngest superstars in WWE history to challenge for a championship.
Whilst Damian Priest had a very entertaining World Heavyweight Championship match in the main event of Raw, he still came up short and teases are beginning to show of a potential split, as Priest and Finn Balor were not seeing eye-to-eye. At the very least, Dominik Mysterio continues to be one of the top heels in wrestling today.
“The Man” is officially in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Lynch defeated Sonya Deville on Raw to qualify and is positioned as the potential leader of the pack to pull down the briefcase, whilst still continuing her feud with Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark
Speaking of qualifying for Money in the Bank, Stark is in as well after knocking off Natalya on Raw. The young upstart has done well during her short time on Raw, and is poised to go head-to-head with Lynch in the near future.
Asuka is now the WWE Women’s Champion. She received her new title on SmackDown before being interrupted and laid out by a familiar foe in Charlotte Flair.
The NXT Champion didn’t make an appearance on NXT, but did make an appearance on SmackDown, costing Baron Corbin his qualifying match against Butch to further ignite their feud and give NXT a presence on a main roster show.
The Intercontinental Champion continues to be incredible. The “Ring General” defeated Kevin Owens in an absolute banger of a match on Raw and Imperium’s feud with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn continues to be a highlight.
The NXT Women’s Champion is looking ahead to her first title defense against Thea Hail in the near future.
Regardless of the loss by Owens, this team has been so fun to watch as tag team champions. Not only have they been (to no surprise) nailing the comedic game, but have been pulling out great TV matches as well, week after week.
The World Heavyweight Champion remains at the No. 1 spot in the WWE Top 10. Rollins made his first title defense this week on Raw against Priest, retaining his title. Rollins is now seemingly turning his attention to Finn Balor and NXT’s Bron Breakker, after the latter set out a challenge for “The Visionary” at the end of NXT.
Jungle Boy and HOOK have proven to be a very fun tandem. The team defeated Dralistico and Preston Vance of La Faccion Ingobernable on Dynamite.
No competition this week for the House of Black, but the group has found their form and are still the AEW Trios Champions.
The AEW Women’s Champion has her first challenge set for Dynamite next week, as Storm will do battle with Skyy Blue.
Obviously White had a good week by knocking off Ricky Starks in the main event of Dynamite. However, the closing image of Dynamite ended with The Gunns potentially joining Bullet Club Gold alongside White and Juice Robinson. Now, seems like the beginning of Bullet Club Gold becoming a major part of AEW TV.
Cole has positioned himself as the next challenger for MJF’s AEW World Championship. Despite Cole not feeling as exciting as before, he is still a terrific performer and Dynamite officially planted the base of a hopefully great feud for the title.
The BCC picked up another six-man tag team victory over CHAOS on Dynamite. The trio of Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta have been consistently good, and Bryan Danielson is gearing up for a must-see match against Kazuchika Okada at Forbidden Door.
The AEW TBS Champion once again retained her title, this time against Anna Jay. Statlander is continuing to be a fighting champion and has definitely shown that he has what it takes to be a top name in the women’s division.
The AEW World Champion had a fun promo with Adam Cole this week and will face Cole next week in an eliminator match. Despite his reign being enjoyable overall, the feuds of the champ needs to be shaken up with fresher ideas and build ahead of his future title defenses.
Takeshita (and Don Callis) are monster heels in AEW right now. The future is very bright for Takeshita and Callis is the perfect guy to get him to the next level. Takeshita picked up an easy victory this week on Dynamite.
The new #1 for AEW is Cassidy. Cassidy survived, yet again, in defending his International Championship. Cassidy’s reign has been nothing short of awesome, and every week it seems Cassidy may be in trouble in losing the title. However, another week has went by and Cassidy is still at the top of his class, still International champion.
