Tyler Breeze – ‘I Was Against Being Teamed With Fandango At First’

Tyler Breeze and Fandango proved to be a popular pairing in WWE, despite ‘Prince Pretty’ being against the team at first.

Speaking with “Agents of Wrestling,” Breeze recalled the pair being put together and didn’t believe he needed someone by his side. He said,

“I was very much in the groove of my single stuff, and I didn’t want to be in a tag team. I didn’t want a – you know, built this Tyler Breeze character for a reason and how it was, and I really didn’t need someone to talk for me or be in a tag team. So I was very much against it, and I believe he was too.”

Despite his initial reservations, the team of Breezango would become one-time NXT Tag Team Champions, winning the titles from Imperium in August 2020.

The pair would enjoy a 56-day reign before losing the titles to Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan that October.
