The four individuals will join the team of Ricky and Kerry Morton, including Tyrus and a partner he has yet to choose, in the tournament which takes place on June 3rd and 4th in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

In other news, MLW Underground was previously rumored as ending in 10 weeks and May 9th would be the final date of the broadcast. REELZ noted at the time, “No decisions have been made by MLW or REELZ and we are both committed to a good outcome for MLW, its fans and REELZ.”

Pwinsider is reporting that next week’s episode of Underground will be the last in the current timeslot of Tuesdays at 10:00 PM EST and is being deemed as a “season finale.”

Talks are currently underway for a second season, with the plan to have MLW Underground as a seasonal show similar to Lucha Underground on El Rey Network.

The report suggests that the time slot is scheduled to be used for reruns of the reality series Jail following next week.

The next MLW event is set for July 8 at the 2300 Arena, which is expected to be a live pay-per-view event of sorts.
