In a recent episode of the podcast, “Hitting the Turnbuckle”, AEW wrestler Lance Archer conveyed his eagerness to vie for the vacant TNT Title in the qualifier matches. His statement was,
“Not all the participants have been named for the TNT ladder match. I have a substantial past with the TNT Title in that I vied for the inaugural championship back in 2020 and I again engaged in competition in 2021. I am confident that I should be part of that dialogue and be competing in one of those matches to be included in the TNT ladder match at Forbidden Door. The future is uncertain and the options are varied, but I am certain that I should be part of that scenario.”
