Blanchard was “fired” by FTR before briefly returning to manage The Gates of Agony. He was replaced when Prince Nana took over as their manager.

Claudio Castagnoli defeated Andrade El Idolo with a low blow in the AEW Continental Classic this past Saturday on AEW Collision.

In a video posted on Twitter, Andrade declared that he had unfinished business with Claudio. He said,

“Claudio [Castagnoli], I have respect for you. But after tonight, we have unfinished business. This is not the end for me; this is only the beginning. I have one more match, but Claudio, I hope to see you soon.”

Tully Blanchard Reveals Why He Stopped Appearing on AEW Television

Former professional wrestler Tully Blanchard recently opened up about his departure from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in a candid interview with “Wrestling Shoot Interviews.” Blanchard, who worked for AEW from 2019 to 2022, shed light on the reasons behind his absence from AEW television before ultimately leaving the promotion.

During the interview, Blanchard expressed his belief that someone within AEW did not appreciate his contributions or lack thereof. He stated, “Obviously somebody didn’t like what I was doing, or lack of what I was doing.” While he did not go into detail about the specific incidents or individuals involved, Blanchard’s comments suggest that there may have been internal disagreements or conflicts that led to his diminished presence on AEW programming.

Blanchard’s departure from AEW came after he was “fired” by FTR (formerly known as The Revival) and briefly returned to manage The Gates of Agony. However, he was eventually replaced by Prince Nana as their manager. The circumstances surrounding his exit remain unclear, but it appears that Blanchard’s role within the promotion had become tenuous before his departure.

In a recent AEW event called the Continental Classic, Claudio Castagnoli defeated Andrade El Idolo with a low blow. Following the match, Andrade took to Twitter to express his disappointment and declare that he had unfinished business with Claudio. Andrade stated, “Claudio [Castagnoli], I have respect for you. But after tonight, we have unfinished business. This is not the end for me; this is only the beginning. I have one more match, but Claudio, I hope to see you soon.”

Andrade’s comments indicate that he is seeking a rematch with Claudio to settle their rivalry. The outcome of their previous encounter left Andrade unsatisfied, and he is determined to prove himself in their next bout. Fans of AEW can look forward to a potentially thrilling rematch between these two talented wrestlers.
