At WWE NXT: Heatwave 2024 pay-per-view event that happened on a recent Sunday night, Duke Hudson successfully pulled off Trish Stratus’ famous move, the Stratusphere. The exciting wrestling maneuver happened during a bout for the NXT Tag Team Championships, where he and partner Andre Chase competed against Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Paying homage to the WWE Hall of Famer, Hudson’s execution of the Stratusphere was a highlight of the match.
Stratus afterwards gave her reaction to Hudson’s move on Twitter, stating that it was, “Excellently executed!.”
Future wrestling events are set to take place in Japan from July 25 to July 27 with ABEMA TV advertising the participation of numerous well-known wrestlers. These include Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, WWE Women’s Champion Bayley, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, JD McDonough, The New Day duo Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston, LA Knight, and Shinsuke Nakamura, among others.
