During her tenure in WWE, famed wrestler Trish Stratus adamantly rejected multiple invitations to model for Playboy stating that it just did not align with her nature. Stratus further elaborated on her decision during an interaction with the Inside the Rope platform.
In the course of this interaction, Stratus directly stated, “Believe it or not, this entire alluring allure is not my cup of tea. They approached me on numerous occasions and I simply said no to all of them. I’ve never naturally been inclined towards this whole seductive appeal, I’m more of a tomboy. Reflecting on my past interviews, when they would ask about my favourite lingerie, I’d often respond, ‘I prefer boxer shorts and tank tops, how about that?’”
Stratus further emphasized, “It was challenging enough for me to maintain the ‘sexy appeal’, I managed that. But posing naked is a definite no for me, I’m fine as is. Moreover, I am here to wrestle, that’s my primary aim.”
