A new version of The Wyatt Family, termed The Wyatt Sicks, made their first appearance on WWE RAW last week. Members included Bo Dallas as Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross as Sister Abigail, Dexter Lumis as Mercy The Buzzard, Joe Gacy as Huskus The Pig Boy, and Erick Rowan as Rambling Rabbit.
Recently, on the podcast “The Pat McAfee Show”, WWE’s Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque provided a minor update on Chad Gable. Gable was on the receiving end of a savage assault by The Wyatt Sicks the previous week.
During the show, Triple H stated, “Of course, he’s fine. Audience members witness things on screen, and it moved swiftly from ‘Here’s Chad Gable not moving, clearly knocked out, bit of blood on him,’ to ‘Good heavens, he has been shot in the head, he’s no more.’ People are paying their respects to him and sending him warm wishes. It’s one of the amazing things about our spectators – they absolutely love being part of the storyline and imagining the future trajectory. It’s a fascinating aspect of our job. However, occasionally, we need to return to reality, just to reiterate, Chad Gable is still with us. In fact, if you watch [Raw] this evening, you are likely to see him in action. That’s how resilient he is.”
Zack Gibson and James Drake, better known as Grizzled Young Veterans, teamed up with Joe Gacy as part of Schism in NXT. Their WWE contracts expired in October 2023, leading to their departure. Shortly after a singular stint in NXT, Gacy rejoined the group as a member of the Wyatt Sicks, debuting on the June 17th edition of WWE RAW.
Zack Gibson expressed his opinions about Joe Gacy’s participation in The Wyatt Sicks in a recent Metro interview.
Gibson stated, “Joe was destined for this role. I am confident he is going to excel. The entire team looks formidable, it’s an ideal position for him…The supernatural stuff isn’t exactly my specialty. We never want to point fingers as everyone was doing their jobs in a constantly evolving scenario. We’re wondering, ‘How did we end up here? This wasn’t what was initially proposed.'”
