During Sunday night’s WWE NXT: No Mercy 2024 special event, the wrestling world saw the much anticipated debut of Giulia. The new WWE star had a face-off with Roxanne Perez after the latter had successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Jaida Parker.
Reacting to Giulia’s outstanding debut, WWE executive Triple H expressed his excitement via Twitter, stating:
“Without doubt, Giulia, with her handle @giulia0221g, is a rising star with an incredibly promising future in the @WWE. It’s a wonderful period to become a part of #WWENXT’s Women’s division. #NXTNoMercy”
During the same event, Ethan Page managed to keep the NXT Championship after overcoming Joe Hendry in the final match.
Josh Alexander, another wrestler and a known rival, couldn’t resist sharing his reaction to Hendry’s defeat on Twitter. His tweet was loaded with sarcasm, chuckling at Hendry’s failure to himself and the team he was representing.
WWE shared a unique “digital exclusive” post-event, featuring Shawn Michaels suggesting Joe Hendry to reach out to him if he considered making a comeback to WWE NXT.
In other developments from the event, WWE showcased another “Digital Exclusive” that captured an elated Nathan Frazer and Axiom celebrating their win of the NXT Tag Team Championship.
