Triple H Reveals What To Expect When RAW Moves To Netflix, Explains WWE ID Program

WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque shed light on the upcoming transition of Monday Night RAW to Netflix, the concept of the WWE ID program, and other matters at the post-WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 media interaction.

Here’s what he had to say during the media interaction:

Regarding WWE’s shift to Netflix: Triple H suggests that fans should anticipate more of the same. Excellent storytelling with dynamic athletes and compelling characters remains at the heart of WWE’s ethos. He emphasized no other entertainment source delivers live content in the magnitude that WWE does. Thus, according to Triple H, the essence of WWE will not change with the Netflix move.

About the standard of storytelling and athletics on Netflix: Triple H indicated that fans should anticipate consistency in the quality of storytelling and athletics, which has made WWE a global phenomenon. As far as the specifics of the Netflix content are concerned, they are yet to be determined and were dubbed as “wait and see”.

About the unknown aspects of their Netflix programming: Triple H noted that even as of now, many components of the programming are undecided. However, he expressed optimism that the vast platform of Netflix will prove to be a game changer for WWE, as they continue to deliver content like they have in 2024.

About the functioning of the WWE ID program: Triple H elaborated on the WWE ID program’s intent to support those who have embarked on the path of professional wrestling due to different reasons, thereby creating an easier route than the challenging journey of the independent wrestling scene.

About providing financial support to indie wrestlers: As per Triple H, WWE is striving to back the careers of promising wrestlers in the indie scene, not only financially but also through constructive criticism and guidelines from an education standpoint, thereby moulding them into professionals ready for the Performance Center.

About their content plans for the program: Triple H alluded to future announcements related to content and added that the ultimate aim is to foster the wrestling ambitions of young athletes. He added that hardworking, consistently growing individuals will remain in the WWE system until they are ready to outgrow it.

If someone is not prepared for the transition to the WWE Performance Center: In such scenarios, Triple H stated that they would transition some athletes around and focus on those who are more likely to provide a long-term return on their investment, not just for WWE, but for the wrestling industry as a whole.
