Paul Levesque, more commonly known as “Triple H,” recently guested on the “Greg & The Morning Buzz” podcast. Levesque, who is also the Chief Creative Officer of WWE, had discussions spanning various topics, including the expected streaming performance for the premiere of WWE RAW on Netflix come January.

Remember the recent livestream of Jake Paul’s boxing match against Mike Tyson on Netflix? Despite the streaming complications and buffering nuisances that bothered the viewership from 60 million homes, Levesque had some interesting insights to share.

Here are some noteworthy snippets from the podcast:

When asked about the buffering issues during the boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, Levesque explained, “I don’t want to boast about it, but buffering was expected on my side as I was flying during the match. The interruption in streaming was anticipated. We were en route back from a TV shoot, watching the match, and the signal was unstable.” He further added, “We’re at a height of 40,000 feet, it’s bound to happen.”

Levesque also doesn’t appear to be overly concerned if they encounter similar buffering issues during the broadcast of Raw on Netflix, given that it would be streaming in about 60-70 million homes simultaneously. He noted, “Seeing everyone commenting online about the buffering issue. If it’s our first night and 60-70 million households are tuning in simultaneously, I won’t mind the glitches.”

Keep your eyes peeled for WWE RAW, which is all set to debut on Netflix on Monday, January 6, 2025.
