Adam Cole’s 400+ day reign NXT Champion has come to an end. At night two of Great American Bash, Keith Lee defeated Adam Cole to capture his first NXT Championship. Now, the father of NXT, Triple H, is commending Adam Cole for his tremendous efforts to help grow the black and gold brand.
On Twitter, Triple H would say that Adam Cole’s reign may be over but he is just getting started.
There is a saying “it’s the talent that makes the title.”
During his 403 day reign over the black and gold brand Adam Cole MADE the NXT championship, THE championship. That reign might be over but he’s just getting started.

After his loss, WWE digital tried to get a word from Cole, but the typically braggadocious one was left speechless.
