Triple H has announced that significant shifts are on the horizon for WWE as the organization’s new television contracts start to take effect later this year.
During the media event following the 2024 WWE Money in the Bank, the WWE’s CCO laid bare an array of changes that are due to happen. He stated,
“We are just getting started. I genuinely believe that. We have a full-scale autumn plan aligned with CW for NXT. Shawn, beyond doubt, is doing a magnificent job, isn’t he? That encompasses talent development, recruitment, and NXT as a whole. I have nothing but positive things to say about it. The work they are doing there is utterly impressive.”
He further added, “Upon switching to CW, when Smackdown transitions to USA, and when RAW finds its new home on Netflix. We’re merely warming up. We’re preparing for all the upcoming events. Many of the adjustments you’re witnessing now are us gradually introducing new elements. As we approach the autumn and winter, expect a lot to unfold.”
It should be noted that WWE NXT will relocate to the CW Network as of October 1st, while Smackdown is all set to switch to the USA Network on September 13th. Furthermore, WWE RAW will become available on Netflix in January 2025.
