Wrestling superstar Triple H recently curated his dream WrestleMania lineup, featuring some of the biggest names in WWE’s rich history.
Triple H, the WWE’s Chief Creative Officer, expressed his thoughts on a dream lineup during a recent interaction on ‘The Roommates Show’. He opined that a battle between a prime Hulk Hogan and a prime ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin would have made for an iconic WrestleMania bout.
The wrestling icon didn’t limit his fantasy matchups to just one. He further imagined a face-off between a prime John Cena and prime Bruno Sammartino, framing it as a clash of two of WWE’s most respected figures.
Adding more allure to this fantasy card, Triple H envisaged a face-off between The Undertaker and Andre The Giant.
Deepening his insight on these dream battles, Triple H stated “Hogan in his prime versus Steve Austin in his prime would have been pretty cool. I don't know how it would have actually been because the styles were so different, but that would have been pretty special. In their primes, Andre versus Undertaker would be pretty amazing. A prime Bruno Sammartino, who was so massive at the time in the 60’s and 70’s. One of the most famous people on the planet at the time. Something like 200 sellouts at Madison Square Garden, which is like saying you have 200 pay-per-views that broke box office records now. Prime Bruno Sammartino versus Cena. The crowd reactions and the way they would have worked would have been something special.”
Triple H’s ideal WrestleMania matchups reveal his extensive understanding and appreciation for diverse wrestling styles and eras, adding to his iconic status within the WWE community.
