On a recent edition of the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, WWE NXT World Champion Trick Williams shared his thoughts about the lack of respect he receives and his experiences in the industry.

Here are some of the key points he raised during the podcast:

With regards to the continual lack of respect he experiences, Williams stated, “I’m exasperated with the constant disrespect. Coming into this industry, it’s an unspoken rule to greet everyone and show reverence. However, the moment you adhere to this decorum by being friendly and approachable, they presume you are weak and they can trample over you.”

Concerning people downplaying his journey to the top, Williams expressed, “Don’t mistake my demeanor. I’m a responsible adult and my path to reach here has been fraught with challenges. The indifference towards my journey bewilders me, but I am not one to back down from standing my ground. Regardless of the outcome, it’s about taking a stand for my values.”

Another podcast featured Lex Luger, a former WWE and WCW wrestler, recounting his experience of participating in the 1994 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade during an edition of his “Lex Expressed” podcast.

Here are a few key takeaways from Luger’s podcast:

Regarding his experience at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1994, Luger recounts, “Being a part of this annual event is one of my fondest memories. The weather was incredibly chilly that day, with piercing winds. Despite being from Buffalo, New York, well-known for its harsh winters, I was ill-prepared for the brutal cold that whistled through the city’s buildings. By the time we reached the heart of the parade, I was chilled to the bone and couldn’t feel my feet.”

Talking about an incident where he feared Undertaker may have hurt himself, Luger shares, “Despite the freezing cold, the experience was worth it. During the parade, a humorous incident took place. All of us were attempting to capture the best camera shots when the Undertaker took it upon himself to get a higher vantage point. He began climbing on the float but unfortunately fell as the footing gave way. All of us were in fits of laughter, but I also worried he might be hurt. Despite the mishap, we all remember it as a time filled with great joy and humor.”
