Trent Beretta On Why Parking Lot Brawl Are Fun To Compete In

Parking lot brawls may be more violent than your standard professional wrestling match, but Trent Beretta has an absolute blast in these bouts.

During the September 16, 2020 episode of AEW Dynamite, Beretta, alongside Chuck Taylor, defeated Santana and Ortiz with Trent getting the pinfall for the Best Friends.

Speaking on the “Talk is Jericho” podcast about the match, Beretta shared his enthusiasm for the match. He said,

“They’re just so much fun because you can really do anything. And those matches are always way easier, cause you’re not blowing up, cause you just take giant bumps and lay around.”

Speaking about taking bumps onto vehicles, Beretta added,

“I kind of thought it was easier than like a top rope bump, or something like that. Do I want to talk about being easier to bump on cars on this? I feel like the wheels, having a little bit of give, and then also the hood denting, s**t like that. Maybe I was just kind of fired up, because I knew I was bumping on a car.”

The Best Friends weren’t so fortunate during the August 3, 2023 taping of AEW Rampage, when they lost a parking lot brawl to the Blackpool Combat Club.
