In a recent episode of his podcast, “What Happened When”, Tony Schiavone, a broadcaster for AEW, shed light on the critical role of QT Marshall in the promotion owned by Tony Khan.

Here are some insightful excerpts from the podcast conversation:

Discussing the vital contribution of QT Marshall in AEW, Tony said, “QT, despite facing some flak over the years, is indeed the unsung hero behind the scenes. We all have had our share of criticism, right? But when we talk about an MVP, QT is it, and I’m not referring to the television’s MVP. He possesses an extraordinary understanding of wrestling, probably more than most in the industry today.”

Schiavone also shared his views about when he realized that LA Parka was destined to shine, “My realization took its sweet time… I collaborated with him again in MLW. I’ll be honest, barring maybe Rey [Mysterio] and Juventud, I didn’t hold many luchadors in high regard then, unlike now. At this point, witnessing a match in Arena Mexico is on my bucket list… I believe it’s absolutely amazing.”
