On the latest episode of the “WHW” podcast, Tony Schiavone discussed a wide range of topics.

During the podcast, the AEW announcer talked about Ricky Starks losing to CM Punk in a “Real” AEW World Title match, with WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat being the special outside official, on last Saturday’s edition of Collision.

Post-match, Starks beat down Steamboat because the latter shoved Starks’ feet off the ropes at the end of the bout. Schiavone said,

“Ricky Steamboat is such a professional. Such a great talent. Still can probably outsell most people in the business today at 70 years old. This moment was not lost on Ricky Starks. I think about how much it meant to his career. We’re doing some good things on Saturday night. We really are. I’m really enjoying doing the show because I’m really, really busy backstage because we do pre-tapes. We do a lot of ROH pre-tapes backstage, too. So I stay very busy during the show, to the point to where I don’t always get to watch the program because I’m doing a lot of backstage work. But I love doing the in-ring interviews, and I love doing the pre-tapes. I’m just really, really enjoying what we’re doing on Saturday night. So it’s been really cool.”
