Tony Schiavone Likes Adam Cole & MJF’s Pairing, Reveals Why Cole Hates Him

On the latest episode of ‘What Happened When’, Tony Schiavone’s co-host, Conrad Thompson, described Better Than You Bay Bay as the pair’s “favourite tag team.”

Despite his differences with Adam Cole and of course whatever feelings any person would harbor toward MJF, Schiavone admitted, albeit reluctantly, that he has grown fond of the pairing over the past few weeks, much like the entirety of the AEW Galaxy.

Schiavone added that while he doesn’t hate Adam Cole, he doubts if Cole reciprocates the same absence of hatred. He said,

“I don’t hate him. I can see why he would hate me because, in reality, his girlfriend likes me more than she likes him — that’s the way it is.”

On last week’s episode of AEW Collision, Friedman and Cole could not capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship from FTR. While many believed that one of them, likely MJF, would turn on the other, both men embrace afterward, and on this week’s episode of Dynamite, MJF granted Adam Cole a shot at the AEW World Championship in the main event of AEW All In at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
