In a recent episode of his podcast “What Happened When”, renowned AEW announcer, Tony Schiavone shed light on the forthcoming head-on collision between Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay in the AEW World Title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door III.

Tony’s enthusiasm for the upcoming match between Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay: “Indeed, I am stoked. Considering how much of a splendid champion Swerve has proven himself to be, and having seen what Ospreay is capable of, it’s bound to be a memorable face off… I may have stated this previously, but I cannot recall anyone who has been able to enrapture the crowd’s thrills and fancies the way Will Ospreay has done in such a brief timeframe.”
Concerning his realisation of Will Ospreay’s towering greatness: “I had an inkling of his greatness, but the magnitude of it truly caught me by surprise. His ring prowess is undeniably awe-inspiring, and his interviews have been refreshingly candid… His vast array of skills represent quite a daunting challenge for Swerve”.
The highly anticipated AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door III event is scheduled for Sunday, June 30 at the eminent UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
