All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Warner Bros. Discovery have confirmed their fresh TV contract. AEW’s President, Tony Khan, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, called the announcement the “biggest day in AEW’s history.”

Tony Khan claimed that the timing is perfect for the announcement about our future. He revealed the new deal will be celebrated on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which marks the show’s fifth anniversary.

Acknowledging the announcement, Warner Bros. Discovery US Network CEO Kathleen Finch remarked on AEW’s unique ability to pull an audience, and the opportunities this presents for Warner Bros. Discovery in streaming. From January, AEW will be available on both Wednesday and Saturday nights, with previous shows available for streaming.

Live pay-per-view events form part of the new multimedia deal and are set to stream on HBO MAX. Though the technology needed for the pay-per-view element is still developing, their inclusion is considered to open up many exciting possibilities for the platform and fans.

The agreement allows for AEW Dynamite and Collision to continue to air on TBS and TNT, with MAX simulcasting the shows in the United States.

From 2025 onwards, MAX will offer live AEW pay-per-view events at a discounted price. Pricing details and further information on how the pay-per-view events will work on MAX are still under consideration.

The agreement is said to last three years, extending to a fourth year if desired. Though the financial specifics of the contract haven’t been released, speculations estimate it to be somewhere around 0 million annually, which includes rights fee and other aspects. Not officially confirmed yet, there are also claims that Warner Bros. Discovery will retain some stake in AEW.

Both sides engaged notable figures in sorting out the deal, with Bernie Cahill, a Founding Partner at Activist representing AEW, while David Zaslav and senior team of Warner Bros. Discovery finalizing their end of the contract.
