Tony Khan, the President of AEW (All Elite Wrestling), has revealed that he will be making a key announcement ahead of AEW Dynamite’s upcoming fifth-anniversary episode this Wednesday.
Through a post shared on his Twitter account, Khan excitedly advertised an upcoming announcement. He also added that the episode will include a significant overrun. His tweet read,
“Tomorrow, Wed, 10/2/24, is the 5-Year Anniversary of the first ever AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite! Thank you all! Tomorrow’s Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite Anniversary Show will have a substantial overrun thanks to @TBSNetwork! + I might have another announcement by showtime TOMORROW.”

– AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson taking on Kazuchika Okada. Notably, Okada’s Continental Championship will be at risk for the initial 20 minutes.
– AEW International Champion Will Ospreay versus Ricochet.
– Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. challenging Serena Deeb.
– Hangman Page squaring up against Juice Robinson.
