In a recent interaction with Comicbook.com, Juice Robinson offered an update on the health status of professional wrestler “Switchblade” Jay White, who has been MIA from the ring since July. Robinson stated that White is taking his time regarding his comeback to the ring.
Robinson shared, “Jay’s taking his time. Sometimes you got to take time in this business and come back better, and that’s what he’s doing. So of course, we’re excited for him to come back, because when all four of us are together, we feel like we are as strong as we can be, and we could take on any four wrestlers, any combination. We’re definitely, like everybody, looking forward to having King Switch back.”
In an engaging chat with Renee Paquette, Kyle Fletcher talked about his aspirations within the AEW, including his goal of becoming the AEW World Champion.
Boasting a successful stint with AEW thus far, Fletcher previously clinched the ROH World Tag Team and World Television Champion titles. He is also romantically linked with Skye Blue.
Reflecting on his ambitions, Fletcher shared, “In my career, I’ve done my ear to not get too married to anything. I think wrestling is a lot of just, things come up, and things arise, and it’s that opportunity meets preparation. So whilst I see that as the end goal, I don’t know how the path to get there looks yet. Because something might come up, and I might go this direction, something might come up, I might go this direction. I think that was kind of always how I treated my career. I can’t picture exactly how it’s gonna go, and I wouldn’t want that.”
Talking on “Q93,” AEW President Tony Khan provided a glimpse into the foundation of the company about five years back. He acknowledged that without Chris Jericho, it might not have been possible.
Along with Jericho, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Cody Rhodes were among the inaugural batch of stars to join AEW.
Khan acknowledged, “I don’t know if it would have been possible for us to launch AEW without Chris Jericho’s involvement. He’s been a fixture and a great part of AEW throughout the five years.”
