In a recent episode of the “Battleground” podcast, Tony Khan, the President of AEW, hinted at the potential return of professional wrestler Kamille to television. According to Khan, Kamille is expected to confront a yet-unknown individual upon her return.
Kamille has been off AEW since November, following a backstage assault during the airing of an episode of Rampage.
Khan conveyed the uncertainty over the identity of her attacker, stating, “That’s a great question. We don’t know who attacked Kamille, and the last time we saw her, she was attacked. We know she had a breakup with Mercedes Mone in their business relationship. Mercedes is flourishing since then. She’s done really well on her own. But Kamille, we haven’t seen her since she was attacked, and we’re not sure what that was and what that was about. I do think that’s an interesting thought for sure, and it’s something to keep an eye on, but that would be a great matchup. When Kamille does return to get payback for that attack, it’ll be interesting to see who she goes after and what that was.”
Khan went on to share his contentment with the outcome of AEW Revolution 2025, which he described as a “huge commercial success”.
Speaking on the event, he said, “This was such a home run. It’s one of the best shows we’ve ever done, it’s one of the best venues we’ve been to. The fans were great in the arena. But also, it was a huge commercial success. We sold over 12,000 tickets. We had a great number of fans in the building. We also had a vast pay-per-view audience, one of our largest ever, especially since the crowd we gathered at Wembley Stadium the previous year for All In. This is one of the most significant Revolutions regarding the live gate and pay-per-view.”
