During a recent media call held on Thursday to publicize AEW Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view happening this Saturday, AEW’s President offered comments about how their company had been managing dual-TV recordings for both Dynamite and Collision. Observations were made about how as a result, some of the fanbase felt drained by the time the TV shootings concluded.

AEW President, also known as “TK”, noted that such an occurrence would only be a random event, happening at minimal proportions within their forthcoming TV shoots.

Here are few noteworthy points gathered from the media call:

Discussing the occasional double TV shoots for AEW Dynamite and Collision, he stated, “This is an infrequent situation and not meant to be a regular aspect at all. AEW isn’t planning to make this a routine practice. The instances where we tape both shows on the same evening are rare. The only repetitive instances are seen around the Australian event, as the rhythm for us differs slightly considering we need to record content before flying the crew internationally.”

Touching upon how double-TV recordings would likely be for international trips or extraordinary instances, he pointed out, “Don’t expect such double shoots to be normal. Only in the rarest of situations would we tape both shows on a single evening. It usually happens around unforeseen international trips or special situations. As far as planning the rhythm of recordings for next year is concerned, it is far from being finalized. There are ample media opportunities that could benefit AEW, and active dialogues are ongoing about AEW and Ring of Honor.”
